My mother is from the Caribbean and this is the chutney I grew up with. It's a lot easier to make than many other versions of chutney.

1 mango - peeled, seeded, and chopped

3 cloves garlic, chopped

½ habanero pepper, seeded and chopped, or more to taste

3 sprigs fresh cilantro, chopped

1 tablespoon lime juice

½ teaspoon salt, or more to taste

Directions

Blend mango, garlic, habanero pepper, cilantro, lime juice, and salt in a blender until desired consistency is reached.

Add water to the mixture if a thinner consistency is desired.
